Introduction to Geomembrane Products
Firstly, geomembranes are classified into smooth geomembranes, composite geomembranes, column-point geomembranes, and rough geomembranes. Each of these products has its own characteristics and is suitable for different engineering applications. Today, we will focus on the functions and raw materials of smooth geomembranes.
HDPE geomembrane is a waterproof and barrier material produced from (medium) high-density polyethylene resin. Geomembrane with a density of 0.94g/cm ³ or above.
HDPE geomembrane, whose full name is "high-density polyethylene film", features excellent resistance to environmental stress cracking, low-temperature resistance, anti-aging, and corrosion resistance, as well as a wide operating temperature range and a long service life. It is widely used in anti-seepage projects such as municipal solid waste landfills, solid waste landfills, sewage treatment plants, artificial lakes, and tailings treatment.
HDPE geomembrane is corrosion-resistant, has outstanding stress cracking resistance (environmental stress cracking resistance), very low permeability, UV resistance, and very stable low-temperature brittleness resistance.
The performance characteristics of HDPE geomembrane are as follows
- HDPE geomembrane is a flexible waterproof material with a very high anti-seepage coefficient.
- HDPE geomembrane has excellent heat resistance and cold resistance. Its applicable ambient temperature range is from high to 110℃ and low to -70℃.
- HDPE geomembrane has excellent chemical stability and can resist the corrosion of strong acids, alkalis and oils, making it an excellent anti-corrosion material.
- HDPE geomembrane has a very high tensile strength, which enables it to have a high tensile strength and meet the requirements of high-standard engineering projects.
- HDPE geomembrane has strong weather resistance and excellent anti-aging performance, and can be used exposed for a long time while maintaining its original performance.
- The overall performance of HDPE geomembrane: HDPE geomembrane has a very strong tensile strength and elongation at break, enabling it to be used in various harsh geological and climatic conditions. It has strong adaptability to uneven geological settlement and stress!
- HDPE geomembrane is made of high-quality virgin plastic and carbon black particles without any preservatives. HDPE has been used to replace PVC as the raw material for food packaging bags and cling film.
